Paintless Dent Removal

Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) is a technique that massages the back of a damaged area with the use of specialised PDR tools to remove dings and dents. PDR technique leaves unbelievable results with no damage to existing paintwork. A PDR Technician can remove all types of dents the size of 5 to 50 pence pieces including creases, high spots, trolley dents even dents the size of footballs. Depending on the size and complexity of a dent it can take between 5 and 30 minutes to remove a dent using PDR.

Dentex PDR technicians use specialised tools that vary by shape, thickness and angles. These tools enable PDR technicians to gain access into awkward areas for different size dents thus providing good contact to all areas of the dent to ensure swift removal. The type of dent to be removed will determine the type of tool used and the method of removal

Thickness of PDR tools- All PDR tools will vary in the thickness of steel/nylon they are made from. Generally the larger diameter of a dent the thicker the tool used to start removal.

PDR is a revolutionary technique that is fairly new to the UK. The general public are becoming more aware of the savings in time and money that can be gained by utilising this method. To date a large number of insurance companies will pay out for repairs carried out via a PDR technician, they will see huge savings on body shop costs as well as there being little or no requirement for the car to be off road for a long period for repair work to be carried out. Majority of PDR technicians are mobile and therefore will carry out repair work outside your home or office.
